Provided a full scope of architectural design services for this two-story addition and expansion that housed both a day care program and private residence. Due to zoning restraints and outdoor recreation requirements of the day care program, the buildable area consisted of a narrow two story rectangular space.   Our challenge was to develop a design which visually bridged the new addition to the existing ranch style structure.  Our resolution was the creation of an extended façade which provided a transition for the two spaces.  This new open facade also redefined the porch area and established well defined public and private entrances.

The original home of May’s Department Store, the Tri-County Flea Market is currently billed as the largest jewelry exchange on Long Island with over 300 vendors, 40 jewelers and the Unique Retail Store. We provided a full scope of architectural and construction management services in the complete interior fit up of this 178,000 square foot renovation project.

Provided complete architectural design and construction management services for a total commercial fit up of this 52,000 square foot retail store located in the heart of Elizabeth’s Downtown commercial district. Renovation included the development of a new vertical circulation core, inclusive of new elevators and stairs connecting retail levels. New service areas were provided including new loading dock, freight elevators and vertical material conveyor system.

The Unique Paterson Store is located in the center of Paterson’s Downtown Historic District, housed in the former c1901 Quackenbush Department Store. We provided a full scope of architectural and construction management services in the commercial interior fit up of this 86,000 square foot, historically recognized Beaux-Art building and adjacent 5 story warehouse. Key elements of this renovation project included the restoration of the 3 story Beaux-Art ballroom stair, the development of new vertical and horizontal circulation cores connecting buildings and retail levels, as well as new custom storefront complementing the historic features of the building.
